On Step 12 – you state to “draw the four areas” for the curls on top of the head….what tool do you use to “draw” these areas? If I use the draw with points tool – it wants to close or attach to the next piece? How do I draw just a curved line to set the stem stitch on?
Hi Michele! Sorry for the delay in response. If you use the draw with points tool under the draw toolbar you can create a shape. Left click to place points and then right click to create the line. The line will appear under the objects tool bar on right side of screen. You can move and edit a line by dragging a point or line. Add additional points on line by double clicking on the line. To remove a point left click. As a bonus, if you select more than one point by holding down control key, the points will turn black. This will allow you to move the unit anywhere you desire.
